A few years back, for a while, lava-lamp menus where the most hyped element in Web design. But just as any fad, it came and went.

The 'Slide hover' script is a small jQuery implementation of such a lava lamp menu, but which uses a small line underneath the menu as the active hover marker.

But there's nothing better than a demo to showcase this effect, which is of course included with the download package.
